Only the official evaluation by the German Chess Federation (DWZ) or FIDE (Elo) is binding. This calculator does not replace that official evaluation and may differ from it in individual cases, for example due to different starting ratings or tournament data corrected afterwards.
Tournament data comes from chess-results.com, rating data from the German Chess Federation and from FIDE. This tool is an unofficial, independent calculator with no affiliation to these organisations.
Any decision made on the basis of the forecast shown — for example expectations about the next official evaluation — is each user's own responsibility. We are liable for damages arising from use of the forecast only in cases of intent or gross negligence.
Tournament data is public data from chess-results.com, which we display unchanged. Anyone who does not wish to be named in full can ask us informally — the privacy policy names the contact channel and the details we need in the section “Right to one's own name”. The calculation itself remains available to every player.
